Davide Carbone has been at the forefront of Australia’s electronic music scene since the late eighties. After winning an ARIA for best Australian Dance Release as part of Future Sound of Melbourne and playing at the iconic Roskilde Festival in Denmark, Davide relocated to England where he settled down and launched his own imprint BS1 Records.
Paul is a songwriter and composer who is best known for his work with Bryan Ferry, Robbie Williams and James Blunt; having toured with them working as a Musical Director and keyboard player. His speciality is songwriting and is an exceptional pianist, and he has used this ability in both commercial and production music fields. Paul Beard is the man behind the music of one of the most talked about Christmas advert in years. He produced and played piano on the Lily Allen version of Somewhere Only We Know, which reached the top of the pop charts.
Matt was surrounded by instruments from an early age. After learning the piano, drums and guitar, he eventually chose to focus on the trumpet. He went on to complete a music degree specialising in Jazz, and it was here that Matt started writing and producing. Experimenting with programmed beats and live instrumentation, Matt began by fusing elements of Jazz, Hip-hop and RnB. Versatile in his compositions, he has had releases on Mike Skinner’s label the Beats, with UK MC Example. Also with Mercury’s Aynzli Jones, along with numerous remixes for artists including Natty, Terri Walker and Kate Nash.
Emily Appleton-Holley is a London based British composer with recent projects including scores for the BBC Natural World series 2012/13. Since graduating from the Royal College of Music with a Masters degree in Composition for Screen, Emily has written music for a number of companies, including EMI, Delicious Digital, James Grant Music, Warner, Altitude Music and Menlo Park Music. She also regularly assists British film, TV and video games composer Stephen Baysted (Credits inc. EA games Shift : Need for Speed, Shift 2: Unleashed, GTR 1 & 2) with whom she has recently worked with on a number of projects, including feature film Strange Factories, and video games including The Walking Dead: Assault.
Rob is a composer for film and TV currently living in Melbourne, Australia. He has written music with Dru Masters for TV shows such as ‘Bear Grylls: Escape From Hell (Discovery Channel) and ‘The Taste’ with Nigella Lawson (Channel 4) as well as many short films, animations and ads.
Tim, better known on the music scene as Timo Garcia (for House & Techno) or NOLAN for his deeper more melodic dance grooves, or even T_Mo for his laid back, blissed out ambient vibes. It was in fact under his T_Mo guise that his love for making music for TV & sync began. Having produced three albums for Deep East Music some of which then featured on numerous episodes of Masterchef, Sky News, Channel 4's Dispatches, The One Show on BBC 1 and even X-Factor Australia. Having turned his attention to writing music specifically aimed at TV/film/games/ads, Tim went on to write a Tropical Pop album and a 14 track Electro Swing album for BMG Production Music with the help of some delightful vocalists.
